Komaru soon discovers that the city has been taken over by a group of children calling themselves the Warriors of Hope. Danganronpa Another Episode is a third-person adventure shooter game where the player controls Komaru Naegi as she tries to survive in a city overrun by Monokuma Units with the help of her partner, Toko Fukawa. Choosing to play as Komaru allows the player to utilize a megaphone-shaped hacking gun which turns her words into various types of ammunition, called Truth Bullets. While the visual novels are great games as well, it was nice for the Danganronpa series to try a new genre. Toko gains much more focus, development, and backstory exploration, going from an annoying cynic to a loyal friend. The first game largely portrayed her as a cynical jackass who always assumed the worst in everything and pushed the other students away. The game takes place half a year after the events of the first game, prior to the events of the second game. She is suddenly forced to flee when she was attacked by deadly Monokuma robots and comes across Future Foundation member Byakuya Togami, who gives Komaru a special Hacking Gun that can fight against the robots and orders her to escape the city.
Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. Each character has a special skill or ability, known as an "ultimate talent". V3 is viewed from the point of view of two protagonists. First, Kaede Akamatsu, who's ultimate skill is that of a pianist. Despite being advertised as the game's sole protagonist, Akamatsu is only a false protagonist, as she is murdered in the first chapter.
The remainder of the game is played as Shuichi Saihara, the first shy ultimate detective. Other participants of the "killing game" include an assassin Maki Harukawa, anthropologist Korekiyo Shinguuji, and ultimate robot K1-B0.
The Danganronpa series features a mascot character, an evil anthromorphic talking robot bear - Monokuma. V3 adds to this by introducing 5 more characters, known collectively as the Monokubs. The Monokubs are secondary antagonist, and are viewed as children by Monokuma. Story High school student Kaede Akamatsu is kidnapped and awakens trapped in Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles,b where she meets 15 fellow students including Shuichi Saihara.
The group is abruptly accosted by a series of bear robots, known as Monokubs who expose them to a "Flashback Light," a flashlight similar to a neuralyzer.

It is good stuff indeed and the kind of game that really does have you on the edge of your seat. It literally had me hooked about five minutes in and it was the kind of game that I legit did not want to stop playing.
It is worth noting that while the PSP version is great, they did release a better version for PC which is what I have played so I would recommend that you play that one over the original. It was a PSP game, it had a huge amount of text that would need localization, and it was based around a group of students locked in a school forced to kill one another.
Between its lengthy storyline segments, light puzzle solving, and fast-paced class trials, something magical has been buried in Danganronpa an engrossing murder mystery that excels thanks to a legitimately interesting cast of characters.
