This is more simple, every takes is the same, can't go over, around or under so gotta go through. In bear hunt, you have to do all kinds of things. So the writing is not great. The illustrations are filled with movement, energy, and fun.

My nephew goes crazy for a lift the flaps book so this was a huge hit. A request to read it twice. I do like that some flaps had something other than an egg. That was a nice touch. The illustrations of the bunnies are cute and I'm sure many children will enjoy the lift-the-flap element, but I found the text clunky, and really did not like the introduction of the stereotypical evil wolf scaring away all the bunnies.

The goal is to find ten of them avoiding all the charming obstructions such as bees, lambs and ducks. And when my young daughter finished her first egg hunt, immediately she started right from the beginning.
