The Wii's remote will need to be on and synced as well. Press A when prompted. This will take you to the main menu.
Start the Homebrew channel. Select the homebrew channel on your Wii's main menu, then select Start when prompted. Select IOS Installer.
It's in the middle of the menu. A pop-up menu will appear. Select Load when prompted. You'll find this option in the bottom-middle of the pop-up menu.
Press the 1 button. Doing so selects the Install option. If you're using a GameCube controller, press the Y button instead. It's at the bottom of the page. If you don't see this option, select the text in brackets at the bottom of the screen and press Right until you see it appear.
Doing so will install the IOS base onto your Wii. This process can take upward of 20 minutes, so be patient. Press any button when prompted. This will exit the setup and return you to the Homebrew menu. Part 5. It's in the middle of the Homebrew menu.
The installer window menu will open. Scroll left to the "IOS" option. This will select the IOS file that you installed earlier. Press A. Doing so confirms your choice. Agree to the terms of use. Press A on your controller to agree to the terms of use.
Select an IOS version. Select a custom IOS slot. Select a network installation. Press Left until you see "Network installation" appear between the brackets.
Start the installation. Press A to begin installing the IOS installer. This will move you to the next part of the installation. Select another IOS version. Select another slot. Use the network installer. Select "Network installation" and press A as you did with the last installer, then wait for the installation to complete. Press any button when prompted, then press the B button.
This will restart your Wii. When it finishes restarting, you'll be able to proceed. Part 6. Navigate to the next page over. Press the Right arrow on your Wii remote's D-pad to do so. Select WAD Manager. It's the second option on this page. Doing so will start up the WAD Manager installer. This agrees to the terms of use. Select "IOS" to load. Disable the emulator. Select "Disable" in between the brackets and press A. Select your SD card.
Doing so brings up a list of the files on the SD card that you inserted earlier. Scroll down and select WAD. It's near the bottom of the screen. Select the USB loader. Install the WAD Manager. Press A when prompted to do so. This will restart the Wii. Once the Wii finishes restarting, you'll be back on the second page of the Homebrew channel. Part 7. It's on the Wii remote.
Pressing it brings up the Home menu. Select Shutdown. It's at the bottom of the menu. Your Wii will power down. It's best to wait until your Wii fully powers down before proceeding. Insert your flash drive into the Wii.
The flash drive should plug into a USB port at the back of the Wii. Turn back on your Wii. Press your Wii's power button to do so. It's on the right side of the page. Select Start. This process will take several minutes, especially the first time you run the program. Insert a game. Place in the Wii the disc for a game that you want to back up to the USB flash drive. Select Install when prompted. The program will begin reading the contents of the disc.
Select OK when prompted. Doing so will prompt your Wii to begin burning the disc onto the USB flash drive. This process will take quite some time, and the burning progress bar may appear to freeze at multiple points.
Do not remove your USB drive or restart your Wii if this happens. This will complete the burning process. At this point, you can eject the game disc from the Wii. Play your game. Click the game's name, then click the spinning disc icon in the middle of the window. This will launch the game. If the Wii is stuck on the black screen, your console may have crashed. If you cannot force a shutdown, the only way is to unplug the Wii's power.

Make sure you're drive number is right! After you're done formatting click the "Load button to load the contents of your USB device. It's empty. Click the "Browse" button in the lower right corner to open a new window, locate your Wii ISO, click it, and click "Open" in the lower right corner. It will take a few seconds to load. After it's done, either close the program and take your usb device out of your computer and go to the next step, or add more games to your usb device. This next step will explain how to usb loader on your Wii. Before you can install usb loader to your Wii you first need the files in your SD card. Unrar the usb hack rar file with Winrar or 7-Zip and copy the contents of the "Copy contents to root" folder to the root of your SD card.

You will get a prompt to merge folders and click yes Remove any Gamecube memory cars and Gamecube controllers from the Wii. Click on "cIOS36rev10" and click load. The screen will go black for a second and you will then be in the cIOS36rev10 installer.
Use the directional arrows to choose WAD installation and click A. After a few minutes it will have completed the installation of cIOS rev Now, restart your wii, go back to the Homebrew channel, and go to Wad Manager 1. After a few moments it will have completed installing the USB channel.
This step will explain how to install the usb loader channel to your Wii menu. First go to the homebrew channel then load the WAD manager. The screen will go green for a second and you will see a disclaimer on the screen.
Press "A" on your Wii remote to continue. Use your left and right directional arrows on your Wii remote to select SD card. On your Wii menu there should be a new channel called usb loader channel. In this next step I will explain how to use your new Channel, and how you can play your games on it. First, plug your usb device into your Wii usb slot and start the USB loader channel.
I haven't figured out how this works. Next, use the left and right directional arrows to choose "USB mass storage device", and click A. It will load all the games on your USB drive and if you downloaded the covers it will show you their cover. Use the up and down directional arrows and press "A" to choose your game. Press "A" again to load your game and press "A" one last time to play your game.
